This week on Deck Diving, we’ll be looking at an Exile ICE destruction deck. The goal of this deck is to use Parasites over and over again to shred the Corp’s ICE, getting free rein wherever you’d like to go. There’s a breaker suite so you won’t be fully shut out of anything, but that’s mainly to get through the one or two ICE they can keep on board.
On to the Deck!
Identity:
Exile: Streethawk (Creation and Control) Since we’re recurring Parasites a lot anyways (hopefully) getting extra card draw for doing it seems a good plan.
Total Cards: (45)
Event (18)
Retrieval Run (Future Proof # 101) x2 ■■ Archives will likely be undefended, meaning this can get a Parasite back, with a card draw.
Forged Activation Orders (Core #20) x2 ■■ Great for this deck: with luck you take out an ICE. Otherwise it’s now vulnerable to Parasite without you even having to face check it.
The Maker’s Eye (Core #36) x3
Sure Gamble (Core #50) x3
Scavenge (Creation and Control #34) x3
Levy AR Lab Access (Creation and Control #35) x2
Diesel (Core #34) x3
Hardware (5)
Plascrete Carapace (What Lies Ahead #9) x2 We still need to meta against Tag & Bag
Clone Chip (Creation and Control #38) x3
Program (13)
Parasite (Core #12) x3 ■■
Snowball (Trace Amount #27) x2
Self-modifying Code (Creation and Control #46) x2
Gordian Blade (Core #43) x2
Deus X (A Study in Static #66) x2 Another strong meta choice. Especially helpful since you’ll be face checking a lot of ICE and Deus X deals with some of the worst.
Creeper (Humanity’s Shadow #89) x2
Resource (9)
Professional Contacts (Creation and Control #49) x2
Kati Jones (Humanity’s Shadow #91) x2
Ice Analyzer (Creation and Control #51) x2 Should be a nice payday: If you’re regularly wrecking their ICE they’ll need to be constantly onlining new pieces. This then pays for the Parasite to take it down.
Daily Casts (Creation and Control #53) x3
There we go, a straightforward deck: keep the Corp from having too much ICE out and it’ll always be cheap to get into their servers.
Happy Hacking!
No Datasucker?
Thus showing the importance of reviewing your deck/not finishing these articles late at night 😛 I also meant to include same old thing but appear to have overlooked it too.
