Hack the Planet: Deck Diving 5: Revisiting Speed

The interwebs love kitties so much they clog the tubes.
Kitty!

Hello, Today’s a special day for Deck Diving: Our first revisit! Don’t worry, I won’t dress it up in too many adorable outfits. Just the cat. (Do I win the internets now? or does it need to complain about you first?**)

So what do I mean by a revisit? simple. When the new datapack dropped I immediately saw the potential for my NBN speed deck to get a major overhaul. Here it is. Please note, not only does this deck carry the usual disclaimer that I made it, but I’ve already found issues with the low ICE count. I have not yet finished tweaking the deck to my liking, but with no tournaments upcoming the pressure has been off.

On to the Deck!

Deck Created with CardGameDB.com Android: Netrunner Deck Builder

Identity:
NBN: The World Is Yours* (Future Proof) *Dibs
Total Cards: (44)
Agenda (12)
Project Beale (Future Proof #115) x3 A 2 for 3. Unless things have gone weird, this deck will not put any more than that on it.
False Lead (A Study in Static #80) x3
Breaking News (Core #82) x3 Normally you want to fast advance this, but with the temp tags it can sometimes be worth leaving yourself a click after scoring to remove some nasty Runner based resources.
AstroScript Pilot Program (Core #81) x3 Mmm, so delicious. One of these early and you can easily chain into the win.

Asset (7)
Private Contracts (Cyber Exodus #59) x3  Thanks to the 12 influence Economy’s tight. This gives pretty good economic boost without costing any of that precious, precious influence.
PAD Campaign (Core #109) x2
Melange Mining Corp (Core #108) x2 Soo good, but at the same time, with so little ICE I’ve been thinking it might be better to use Marked Accounts for the drip economy instead of the burst econ.

ICE (17)
Ice Wall (Core #103) x3 ■ Still my favorite stopper ICE. At 1 point i makes the 12 cut.
Wall of Static (Core #113) x3
Tollbooth (Core #90) x2 We need money for advancing, thus only affording 2 of. Plus Flare and we have some awesome late game ICE.
TMI (What Lies Ahead #17) x2 Honestly not hugely happy with this one as a richer Runner, or just one with Link, might make it worthless. It still makes the cut atm due to it being good stopper ICE once up, even if they have the consummate breaker active.
Pop-up Window (Cyber Exodus #56) x3 $ maybe it’ll slow them, but it’s really there for the free money. Put on R&D and watch the funds flow in.

I spy, with my little eye, something … burnt.

Flare (Future Proof #117) x2
Enigma (Core #111) x2 AKA tissue paper. Still better than nothing.

Operation (5)
Biotic Labor (Core #59) x2 ■■■■ Yes, we’re a fast advance deck. Unlike Sansan, Biotic doesn’t need to be protected. (good with the low ICE count)
Hedge Fund (Core #110) x3

Upgrade (3)
SanSan City Grid (Core #92) x3
Total Agenda Points: 18

So there’s the deck. With all three-to-score agendas you never have to prep an agenda to get it going. With Biotic Labor or Sansan you don’t even have to leave it hanging out for the turn. Thus you want to put what little ICE you do find in front of R&D or keeping your economy intact.

Happy Running!
