Yes, the half of this episode that is about L5R is about the Knoxville Kotei. The next three episodes will be all Embers of War.
Mostly it’s just that, yeah, I do have an existence outside of L5R, and I feel like talking about that too, and the gaming part of it is close enough in subject matter that I feel OK including it (don’t worry, you won’t have to sit through anything like, say, my commentary on the latest issue of the Economist). On a more constructive front, I’d like to think that (1) the L5R crowd is interested enough in gaming generally that they like hearing about other games too (certainly most of the L5R players I know play other games as well) and (2) maybe people will check out non-L5R content, hear about L5R, and then want to see what this cool world/game is all about.
